GDT: fileFieldElement value grows with "existing*" string

When I used the <af:fileFieldElement/> tag in the importer and I upload a file, it gets stored as a value. When I then refresh the page (by opening Template editor and closing it) it should keep the uploaded file in the "value" attribute of the tag. Works fine, except that it keeps placing an "existing*" string after every refresh of the first page of the importer, so you end up with a value of "existing*existing*existing*subjecttest.xls".

Looked in the GdtTagLib? and on line 438 I see a piece of Javascript where this string is added. Does it have a function or should I use an other approach to keep the uploaded filename stored as a value?

Added extra check after the refresh which checks for the "existing*" string and removes it from the filename.
