select-boxes in a 'grid' don't work properly in IE7

Reported by: robert@… Owned by: work@…
Priority: minor Milestone: Should have
Component: Import wizard Version: 0.6.3

Description

In the 3rd step of the importer, a grid is shown with the results of the import. If a ontologytermfield is imported, the user gets the opportunity to fix his mistakes. However, the selectboxes don't work properly.

If I try to change the field value in the first row, I can only select the first element. If I want to select another element, the select closes. It seems to close because I hover another table row.

The same problem occurs in the study create wizard.

Might be related to #234 and #237.

Sorry, my mistake. I don't have IE7 here and this seems a jQuery/CSS specific issue of the table editor which Jeroen wrote, with his background knowledge he might have a solution for this faster than I have.

I'm sorry, I don't have IE7 either, so I cannot debug / fix this... Back to Robert then?

Since the people on TNO only have IE7 to use, it is quite important that all things work properly in IE7. Because of that, it is wise to test everything also in IE7. So I'd suggest that you install IE7/windows anyhow. I don't want to be the one having to fix all IE7 bugs in your code.

This bug was a result of the background color of the select changing on row:hover. This is fixed in grails plugins r176

That is a simple CSS fix ( r176) :)
