After the user has indicated which assay the file describes, and which column contains the sample names, the UI should return a message stating something like '20 of the 400 samples in the assay found, 10 samples unmapped'.

I implemented a working (for me) solution. Please test/comment.

At all times, show how many samples are recognized in the dialog.

The message is still displayed after you click 'Save' but now also when you close and reopen the dialog afterwards.
